Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on television. In the year 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. Within a short time, she moved to Texas and completed her education in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long, and she soon transferred into Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of parts as an actor, including commercials, local independent films, and even a few of the film's. Although she only had a few part-time roles, she quickly realized her love for acting. The year 2001 saw her move in New York where her first character was on All My Children's morning soap as Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she had small appearances in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She was cast in her first big role in 2004's miniscule drama The Mountain.
